This thread shows another huge benefit to loading the fantastic 7-08. Lots of different powders work, and work well. For instance, when loading 140's I reach for Varget first, and run it at 2820fps. Accubonds at that velocity and bullet weight are absolutely superb.
I think I'm starting to favor my 7-08 over my Creed. Both have custom barrels; both are great rifles.
There's just something special about the 7-08.
