My wife wasn't very political when she came here from Canada, but basically she carried those old Canadian socialism opinions.
She's been here 20+ years and got her citizenship about 19 years ago. She's had a chance to witness the reality of life in America and she's hard core Conservative now. Knowledge increases with age.
