Thousand Currents never exceeded a million per year in grants until all of a sudden, in 2015 (after Ferguson) the cash started rolling in. This is all "nonprofit,": fake "charity" politics. Big-@$$ billionaire donors make anonymous donations (earmarked, of course) and the money gets dumped into professionalizing the BLM leadership so a fabricated movement infrastructure is ready full time to exploit any and all events that serve the preferred narrative.
