Purchased two stocks for my pre 64 model 70 from an older gentleman that no longer had a need for them. One is an original wood stock and the other according to the man is a Mcmillian. He stated he bought the Mcmillian many years ago and couldn’t remember if it was for a standard or featherweight model.
I tried to put my standard 30-06 in the Mcmillian but from what I can tell it will need some fitting. Does anyone recommend a gunsmith that can do this type of work?
