For those that have ordered and received a McMillan Hunter's Edge Compact stock recently (say within the past 2 years), would you be able to provide what the stock weighed?
Looking to know:
- Action Inlet
- LOP
- Recoil Pad Width
- Weight of stock
I'm still a bit ticked about getting a 28 ounce edge stock from McMillan, but alas, I find myself the new owner of a Winchester M70 Featherweight that I would like to restock. I've debated trying something like the Bansner or a Brown Pound'r, but between work and kid number one due soon, I find myself a bit short on time (with even less on the horizon) to dedicate to inletting, painting, and such. McMillan still has the most drop-in friendly option, so willing to give one more try on an Edge Compact if recent orders folks have received are coming in sub 25 ounces.
