Amen!
The last name on that document is a direct descendant of mine. My family’s blood has stained the soil in the name of freedom every time our country has called. I pray that no more of my family’s blood is shed but if it must be then I pray it’s mine and not my boy’s (or God forbid, my girl’s).
Actually that makes you a descendant of his. But I get it. I re-read the Declaration of Independence this morning when I got and am a proud, unapologetic American.
