The Bears are in place along the streams and waiting. And the Salmon seem to be rapidly pushing into the streams this year, rather than stacking by the outlets
We are seeing that here also. We had a bunch of fish jam up the creek when they normally would kinda test the waters a few times before coming up the ladder. These ones have just been blasting up. One weird thing we have been seeing is a huge number of tapeworms coming out of the fish after they are in freshwater for a while. Not sure if its the change from SW to FW that is causing it. No sushi for me thanks!
