I put my 9.3x62 together in 2000 for a 2002 Africa trip. As expected it performed very well with the 250 gr original X. That said my last bull elk dropped at the shot from my 270 Win Montana and the 140 gr TSX. The 30-06 works too as I helped a farmer in Namibia a couple of years ago.
