OP Gun_Geezer Campfire Regular Joined: Oct 2012 Posts: 2,954 East Texas	Was advised by the good folks at Bob Lee Bows to use acetone to remove the wax, and the D97 string did not need waxing anyway. Go figure. I got most of the wax off, but it's still pretty shiny so I just picked up a new string.
