It's their own fault but not for the reasons that some said. It's their fault because they let the PD get out of control. Remember Justine Damond and the young black guy who was just announcing that he had a license and had a gun on him? All these cops are suffering from PTSD because they realize that they can't have "fun" on the job anymore. If they truly suffer that badly from PTSD, maybe they shouldn't have been cops in the first place.
Don't be naive. This is a strategy for the police union and the police to fight back against the lack of support they are getting from the public officials. The Democratic controlled administrations have been complicit in allowing civil disobedience and intentionally allowing areas of their jurisdiction to become ungovernable as a political tool in an election year. This group is giving the administration a taste of their own tactics.
