They still cutting meat in Glasgow?
The corrals we used were borrowed from a friend.
Now that we calve so late, on grass, we naturally have to brand later. We used to brand with them all at home.
We tried a couple years to move the herd home and brand. NEVER AGAIN.
Of course we forgot to get some corrals set up, so we borrowed a set of portables from a friend and set up in the pasture they were in already.
The panels are 24 feet long, and free standing. Made with 2 7/8ths and sucker rod.
Going to buy about 30 of them.
Was thinking about setting up some remote corrals in the area....continuous fence is cheaper and we have lots of pipe posts.
After using this portable set up......we will not be messing around with permanent corrals.
