Woodleigh bullets have a long and storied history in Africa hunting. A .411 Weldcore 400 grain shot through this buff and was not recovered.

I am also a fan of the Kodiak .458 450 grain FMJ for big tough stuff like this ele dropped with one at 2150 from my 1886 45-90 (custom loaded by Grizzly cartridge).

Same Kodiak load is outstanding for Cape Buff and Bison, shooting through most of them and dropping them like metal targets.
