These pics remind me of a time when I was gunsmithing in a shop which attracted a large number of real enthusiasts. In addition, the owner of the shop was a serious shooter, hunter, and writer. Consequently I saw and worked on a wide variety of pretty classy and unusual guns. Highlights included a 30/40 Krag built by AO Neidner, the first 270 to leave the Winchester factory, and the last remaining unaltered, of the first Model 70's in 375. This in addition to custom guns by some of the best makers out there. The bad thing about threads like this that my beat up old hunting rifles and utilitarian target rifles just can't measure up and I fight depression for several days after looking. GD
Whitebird makes me depressed.
