I have a niece who spent a couple years on the street in Seattle. Mostly due to drugs. A hottie? Um, no. Not even close. She had a kid with another junkie. My sister is raising her. My niece is trying to cleaned up. She has a decent job and is trying but I doubt she'll ever be a fit mother.
That is tough. But at least she is trying. Most of the ones I know don't even try.
