You'll want lightweight hammer spur extension if you put a scope on it.
No, you don't. That is why they redesigned the spur so that it can be rotated. Think about it, if the spur was fine with a hammer extension, don't you think T/C would have simply endorsed it?
I tried it on an original Encore frame & it broke my spur off in short order.
