I have a Viper winch on my Razor, 3500lb. I haven't used it a lot but it's been flawless so far for plowing. It has a syn rope but when the plow's mounted, I have a short 8' rope just for that. It saves the wear on the long rope with all the up and down of a plow. It's hard to believe that those ropes are so strong. They really look flimsy.

About any winch will fit if you can get the right mounting kit. One problem I had was the control buttons on the gearshift. I can use either them or I have a wired remote so I can use the winch when I'm outside the Razor. I kept hitting the IN button when shifting so the winch kept getting tighter and tighter. I finally put a switch in the wires to the relay so I can just flip it off when not needed.
