The good oregon rifles were true works of art. But quality was not always the same. For me the accuracy in the NY rifles has been way better. All of this is just my experience and opinion.


I was just curious as I have an Classic Varminter from Yonkers, NY and yes it produces jagged hole groups at 50 with any 40grn Alamo I’ve tried. I’ve not even ran high end ammo thru it either. They are fantastic little rifles.
