Before it became known what Ancestry.com was doing with DNA test results, I had mine tested. It was a family legend that we had a little Cherokee or maybe Freedman Cherokee in us. Neither one showed up in my results. Well, today I got an email from Ancestry that they'd reviewed and revised the results. No change. I can't see any revision at all other than maybe a minor change in percentages. We're all northern European. I'm soooo disappointed to not be Woke. Not.
I can remember the times when folks disavowed having any Indian blood. But, that came to a screeching halt when all the oil money started coming to the tribes. Then the same folks were doing an Elizabeth Warren.
