I fail to understand why people get upset about the old Confederate flag. The main symbolisn associated with it today doesn't seem to have so much to do with racism or slavery, as it does hoisting a flag of political and cultural rebellion and telling Washington D.C. and the urban elites to go fugg themselves. A sentiment shared by about half the country, to one degree or another.

If there is another civil war in the future, I suspect there may be more stars on version 2.0 than just thirteen...
