Absolutely. The left has done a great job of spinning communism and fascist as polar opposites when they’re one and the same. I liken them to Sunni Muslim Vs. Shiite Muslim. Two sides of the same coin fighting over minor differences. The Nazis called themselves socialist and communist Russia was fine with them right up until Hitler waged war against them.
A conservative (classical liberal) in the mold of a John Locke and others that our founders based Americas system of government on is the polar opposite of a Nazis or communist. It’s about individual choices and freedoms with very limited government interference.
