Friend of mine picked up an older Weatherby Vanguard with walnut stock in 25-06. It has a cheap 4-12 Tasco on it and its shoots tiny clusters at 100 yards. Said he isnt even going to switch out the scope. Going to check it out this weekend and I might make him a cash offer for it.
