I have a Savage 25 in .17 Hornet and it shoots tiny little groups at 100 yds. even with Hornady factory ammo. It's my second favorite groundhog rifle next to my .17 Fireball. I don't think the model 25 will disappoint you unless you enter it in a beauty contest.
