Joe Miller who is a good friend of mine made a solid stab at taking her out in the primary and a bunch of lobbyist mobilized forces in the rural hubs like Kotz, Bethel and Nome to vote for her. She squeaked by a thread after a really dirty campaign. Most regular Alaskans hate her guts. She doesn't come back often because she is not welcome. We have our problems. Los Anchorage and Juneau are libby centers. Trump only won in Alaska by 1 %. We got a lot of liberals from Washington, Oregon and California that want to make us blue.
