Ranger_Green, Thanks! It was a Marlin Guide Gun in 45-70. Cast, powder coated, 430 grain WNFP (Accurate Molds), over 44.0 grains of RL7. A lot of luck, after all of the previous bad luck, in “stumbling upon” a pretty accurate load very quickly. I think I’m “gonna pull real hard on leav’r be”! wink memtb
