Barrel first or butt first?
From a purely safety stand point, butt first would seem to make sense. I doubt a quick draw would be part of the equation. I would also recommend an empty chamber. Perhaps the style of wearing pants below the hips lead to this concealed-carry method; maybe it was the other way around. Might be a good subject for a dissertation. GD
