This guy was protecting his dad, his business, and himself, from rioters. The County Attorney saw no problem with the shoot but the threat of blm unrest brought about a "special" GJ who did find issues. I think this case would've been an interesting one to watch as it would have really dealt with one's right to protect himself, family, and property. I'm sure there are many who are glad it ended when it did and the way it did. Now to many, Gardner will forever be thought of as guilty of murdering this black thug. And the next guy who wants to protect himself, family, or property from these animals will no doubt be worrying about this case.

The intention is to instill fear in regular folks that they will be ruined and threatened with prison, even if they had no choice but to use lethal force against a radical leftist attacker. They succeeded.

There really needs to be a Federal action created for when the known facts clearly lay out lawful self-defense, and political pressure causes a reversal of that determination leading to charges being filed. This pattern is a clear violation of a fundamental right. Whoever, in said situation, reverses the previous determination by a lawful authority (resulting in charges filed) needs to be subject personally to a lawsuit for violating a fundamental right.
