What is your desired basis for comparison? If you are talking rifle barrels, I don't think it matters much to 200 yards. I don't have any experience with 500 S&W out of a rifle, but I am sure it has far more power that the 444, given its higher operating pressure and powder capacity. I am also sure there isn't much difference in trajectory to 200 yards, either, but the edge would go to the 500. Both will kill anything in North America at 200 yards with the right bullet, but the 500 will kill them "deader", I suppose.

I'd like to have a 500 in a rifle. It would be a fun gun. a 440-450gr cast bullet at about 1700fps would be a hoot for timber and big critters.
