I got tore the fugg up by skeeters on the way out thru the hardwood swamp going back to the truck.
Holy fugg....
Reminded me of brook trout fishing in maine about the 3rd week of may.
Had ones stuck in me killing others stuck in me.
Fugging sun warmed them little fugga,s up when I was walking out fast cause of em.
Was planning on still hunting back to the truck.
That plan went away fast when I came down of the higher ground.
I had ta get the fugg outta their.
Spooked 2 does on the way out.
Major deer tracks all over in the day light versus what I saw going in with a flashlight.
I need ta hit the area 30 spot on the trail I blazed going their.
Similar set up
White oak grove in the middle of a big patch of woods.
Cut trail goes thru about 200 yds of creek bottom briars then about another 200 thru a hardwood area before the oaks.
Getting in these spots in the dark and sitting down instead of still hunting em midday after staying at a easier access stand is better.
The other stands are good also.
But being in these new spots before the deer get their moving thru is worth it.
After what I seen this morning in 41 .
I'm pretty pumped as late mid to oct and nov approaches.
And the bucks start losing their minds slowly but surely.
Keep your texas steers laced up tall and tight, you seen that copperhead I steamrolled right?
I personally recommend a $500 pair of schnees for sitting on my ass, next to a tree

Gonna buy 2 pairs of wally world rubber boots.
When that hardwood swamp starts getting drenched from rains gonna need em.
2 or 3 weeks ago when I made the trail their was 3 4 6 inches of standing water in it.
Today it was dried and squishy
mud stuff in places.
Slumlord walked thru it one time with me yrs ago.
Gets pretty knarly in their when it is wet.
500 dollar pair of boots.....

Bucks shove each other out of the way so you can shoot them
