Should. The only difference between their RF and CF scopes is the parallax-free distance for those w/o AO ... 60 yards for the RF, 150 yards for the CF. One nice plus to the RF 2-7X is a finer crosshair than the CF. I'd go for it without a second thought.

Tom is correct.
When I got a new .375 Holland and Holland, I wanted to test it out right away.
I put on a Leupold rimfire 3-9x on it and shot it a LOT, never any problem at all.
