My son called me up and invited me to lunch in Seattle.
It turns out he want to ask me how to propose to his girl friend.
I told him how I proposed to his mother.
When I got home the wife wanted to know what happened, and I told her.
Then she calls up our son and says, "DON'T PROPOSE LIKE YOUR FATHER! HE DID IT ALL WRONG!"

And that is what it is like to be married for 45 years.
