Whatever will keep her shooting is what's important though.
Unfortunately she wears glasses and her eye sight is worse than mine and she’s only 20.. so I don’t know how well she do with irons.. At least she doesn’t need bi-focals 😁
I made HM LR and NMC with eyes in the -7.0 -8.0 range. All irons except for the open LR matches.
She can make it. Maybe check in with a eye doc that works with shooters, mine was a great help over the years.
Good on you helping her! I'd try to stay with irons and slings as long as I could before getting into the F class equipment race.
