I've only used the Barnes 180gr TTSX in the 358Win, not the Whelen. Velocities in the 2800 fps range are easily obtained in the 358Win, likely 2900-3000fps is possible in the Whelen. I haven't yet used the 180gr TTSX on game yet but am confident that it will perform as well as other Barnes TSX & TTSX have for me & others here on the Fire. Try it out! Good Luck. -Mark
