First, who knows how many of those 620 deaths are actually because of COVID? Just because you had it when you died doesn’t mean it killed you. The perspective really changes if we cut that number in half.

Second, the state has shut down because of 620 deaths in 7 months. 88 deaths per month, 22 per week. That’s twice as many as die on the highways, I get it, but good God, are we willing to cripple the world?

What are we willing to do to decrease the number of deaths on the highway? Lower the speed limit, raise the driving age, increase the penalties for speeding or DUII?

Nope.
