Been there & through that with our kids. (really - Doug's first deer, he was giggling, quietly but uncontrollably, whilst on the trigger, I kept muttering, shoot & he kept giggling till we were eventually busted.
Had to talk him (12) through the anguish, 20 feet up a tree, but by the time I settled him down, another buck presented itself !!
