Farmer, supporter of President Trump finds all of his heavy equipment burned. They had displayed Trump flags.

LINCOLN, NE – A proud President Trump supporter and farmer received a call informing him that his heavy farming equipment, which he has his Trump flags waiving on, had caught fire and were a complete loss. Although the fire department has not said whether the cause of the fire was arson, they are calling it suspicious in nature.

Jonathan Rempel, a farmer from Sutton, Nebraska, received a phone call from the Sutton Volunteer Fire Department that his harvesting equipment was lost in a fire. His combine and tractor, most of which were used to proudly display his Trump flags, were a complete loss.

Again, the cause of the fire has yet to be determined, but some are guessing that Rempel’s equipment was burned because of the Trump banners. Rempel, who has his own suspicions on politics being the motivating factor, alleges that he was told that all of his equipment was set fire at about the same time. Not to mention, he claims there was no chance that someone could find his equipment without knowing where it was parked.

The approximate cost of the destroyed equipment ranges between $300,000 to $400,000. The total loss might be greater, as he was getting ready to start harvesting his crops. Without the equipment, the harvest will undoubtedly be delayed which may cost him part of the crop, as well as business.
Thankfully, farmers are pitching in to help Rempel in his time of need. He said that he has heard from farmers from as far away as Kansas and North Dakota, who intend on helping him harvest his crops. Rempel is very thankful for those that are chipping in to help him in his time of need.

He said:“God is good. The American people are great. So often, we’re focused on the 1% who are bad.”

Rempel said he expects the amount of people that are slated to come and help him this weekend will be bringing anywhere from six to ten combines. Until then, he was driving around a combine that he had borrowed from somewhere else, in an attempt to start his harvest.

When asked what he thought was the cause of the fire, and if it was politically motivated, he said:

“You tell me.”
