I took your advice on my Howa 6MM CM and shimmed the lug and barrel so the barrel free floated.This was using a Vanguard synthetic stock.Groups went from 1 1/2" to way under an inch with every bullet I tried which included 112 gr Match burners,105 gr. Berger VLD Hunting and 95 grain Nosler BTs.Very nice groups for a budget rifle.This winter I will take the time to actually bed the action.Huntz
