Yup. The problem with today's world is there weren't enough ass whippings handed out in the last 30 years or so.
I wondered that too and came to the same conclusion. Adults that behave like that usually got away with it in their youth as either brats or bullies. They never learned when it would have been a smack in the mouth by a family member, or a fight on the ball field . Adult fights sometimes have greater consequences.
