Well back from the Pa. Original 1000Yd. Br club world open.
Kinda licking my wounds, but overall not totaly dissapointed considering the conditions. Sat Mid morning relay winds on and off sun in and out, 11.9" for 10 shots with the light gun (300 WSM) 9 of those shots were in less than 6" and the #3 shot took it out to 11+. I really think it was gun handling as I was trying to shoot too fast and may have fired as I pushed the gun forward. Sat afternoon Heavy gun (.300 Ultra) Mid afternoon more or less the same conditions. 8.24" and won my relay for group"! again though, one shot out of a group about 5" that took it out to 8+" again shot #3????. Got to think about it for a while.

Sun Heavy gun next to last morning relay. gusty winds that just start and stop quickly, sun in and out and some mirage too. (Normal Williamsport)11.1" Two shots out caused, I believe by let ups. Sun. light gun. Next to last relay about 4:30. gusty winds, really strong at times. Sun in and out. Sighter on the bank with clay birds about 30 to the rt. cliked to zero, fired another sighter 1 minute before time, another 20 clicks to zero. Another shot 15 seconds on the sighter target and another 10 clicks windage. Wind picked up again as the record targets came up and I added 5 more clicks windage. Got ten off pretty quick and the rifle tracked well. Result a nice 6" group on the top right of the target.......but only 9 shots & one shot, #9 went off the paper. Result 0 game over.! Of course the next relay the wind pretty much laid down.

All in all a pretty good w/e. Some really good shooters "crashed and burned" but some great groups were shot as well. This year a .30 cal. took overall. Results are posted on the Pa. original 1000BR. site. cool
