It is reasonably popular in Australia, although is certain areas. However, the 308 and 223 reign supreme. Before the 308 the 303 and 303/25 were everywhere in Australia. Look at Africa in earlier times and the 303.
I would rather a 270 or 270 Mag, 7mm Mag or a 300 Mag.
