OK. 44 it is. I have not been a fan of the Henry. I would have to see someone shoot it a lot and try to make it lay down on the job. See what it is made of. I know a bit of the Marlin. I was thinkin' the Marlin in 357 could be rebored. So a small bit of action work and a piece of conduit cleaned up for the mag tube? Then the rebore. And maybe a lighter rifle!?!
