As Blackheart said, poachers are everywhere. There was a fellow here, CH, who for years was known as the number one poacher of whitetail deer, and someone every game warden in the area was after. He'd use old junky azz cars that he'd paid only a few hundred dollars for, and abandon them if he had to, in case the law got after him. He'd then report them stolen, and he got away with it, partly because he was friends with a lot of the LEO's. He and some of his hunting buddies poached some very good bucks.

One of his buddies had been friends in the Navy with a fellow from Florida who'd become wealthy. They talked the Florida man into leasing a lot of hunting land up here, then they poached it when he wasn't around...........lol. Those dyed in the wool poachers don't give a damn about anything except killing something illegally.
