It’s probably sloppy of me, but I load them all with an eight point crimp starter. Works fine for me in a 16 gauge Grabber.
My Dad does the same thing and has for years. You can hardly tell the difference in the crimp. He does it because the eight star crimp will float and spin while the six star crimp is solid when the body is tightened up. I went to the spindex on everything and modified it a bit by taking a Dremel and filing down the three tabs on the sides. It now works wonderfully.
