Currently sitting on 9 PP for both elk and mule deer in WY. I'm 61 and mostly retired (yes lucky) normally solo hunt and have for years. Previously lived in CO and MT so I'm used to the mountains and have a healthy respect for big bears. Can use my pickup camper and ATV when needed, but really enjoy putting miles in on foot.
Do I wait a few more years or are their decent units for a fun hunt. Not looking for a trophy as I can't budget a guided hunt and am realistic at my age.
