Cold
which wasn't something the folks in the UK appreciated
Grown to favor their ways after I began brewing my own. Good beer, something with flavor, should be consumed at room temperature. None of the big brewers in the US even come close.
+1 GOOD beer doesn't need to be cold, and many are
better at room temperature.
Room temperature is a bit much, but it does need to be about 55 degrees before you can actually taste the stuff.
That said, I can't stand British or Irish beer. Much prefer the huge Belgian variety, dubbles, triples, etc. Some of the German stuff is good.
