Break in of a custom barrel? As mentioned above, the only thing that needs attention is the throat in a newly chambered barrel. I use 0000 steel wool wrapped around a bronze brush. Use your trust drill and work on your throat for about 5 seconds. Your barrel is now broken in. Only problem that some folks have with their barrels after treatment is they don't clean them properly after getting them back from the melonite folks. Put them in a container of water for a couple days, scrub the bore thoroughly, and shoot.
It works great if done properly.
