Because the ramifications for elections (perceived OR physical) are now great enough in our country that people are compelled to become violent about them.
This is regardless of the legitimacy of the elections.
Is it legitimate for 51% of the electoral college to hire a person that infringes on your rights, or your neighbor's, in the first place? Or are right inalienable?
