I bought a brand new Marlin 39 back in 08 never fired. Misfires , light pin strikes ,and bulged case below rim ,.looked like bottom of case was bulged out. Sent back to Marlin twice ,last time i think they changed ,the whole bolt and firing pin ,.So i assume the headspace was off when they built it. kind of made me think there QC sucked
