My .308 never shot the PP or 180 Federal SP very well. It did very well in accuracy and on game with 165 gr Grand Slams and is very accurate with Speer Hot Cor and CoreLokts. I think shot placement is probably more important than bullet selection on most deer applications. Happy Trails
