If you’re a collector or looking for a collection piece, probably not for you. If you want a good shooter that you want to hunt hard, here it is. Winchester model 70 in .30GOVT06 made in 1946. It has a cloverleaf tang and I believe a Tilden safety. A blank fills the slot in the barrel and it is missing the front hood. The metal seems original to me but the wood has been refinished and a pad was fitted (rather poorly). The bridge was tapped for mounts. It will come with weaver bases and Burris rings 1”.
