Because of this thread, shot my Hatsam .30 today, with the scope set at 2x, target 50 feet away. Using Vortex (Hatsam) 44.75 gr pellets, chromo showed 530 fps. With JSB "Match" 50.15 gr pellets, got 510 fps, with FX 50.2 gr saw 507 fps. Used a rest, 45 gr pellets "grouped" a bit over a inch - the heavier pellets put 2 less than 1/2" apart, the 3rd out a bit (could have been me?). Thought I had some heavier pellets, but I must have shot them all. Saw some posting saying these would shoot "through a 2x4", but mot sure with what pellet? I've blown some impressive holes through 1/2" plywood target backing.

Prices I'm seeing look to be $400-$500 for this rifle, but I was remembering paying less than that last year? Certainly less than a good .30 PCP rifle. I'm happy with it!
